Hey Anne, Thanks for writing. Keeping a migraine diary is a great idea so you and your doctor can work out a plan to control them. You may want to consider the following:

What time/days do they occur?

What triggers your headaches; did you notice a certain reaction after eating a certain food such as aged cheese? Did you drink caffeine?

What medications did you take and when?

What behaviors did you engage in before the headache occurred? Do you find that exercise helps alleviates your headaches?

What was your sleep pattern the night before?
