I was diagnosed with breast cancer this past May. It came as a total surprise since I didn't feel a lump or mass. The breast cancer was picked up on a PET scan which I have about every six months to monitor the potential recurrence of brain cancer that was diagnosed five years ago. A mammogram was followed by an ultrasound and ultimately a biopsy.
