This is a very inspiring post!! I also have about 50 pounds to lose, and have lost 7. However, it's been slow going. Perhaps that's because I'm doing it on my own instead of joining a group. My weight is also primarily medication-caused, though I also have menopausal issues I'm working through. (What a party.)

I love that just 10 pounds in, you are already seeing a difference. What moments are you looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to the time when my rings slip on and off easily like they used to, instead of being stuck. I'm looking forward to feeling good in a pair of shorts again (for that matter, I'm looking forward to the day when all my old favorite clothes fit again!) And I'm really looking forward to Feeling Like Myself when I look in the mirror. Right now, I wonder, who is that person and what is she doing in my mirror? I think that's why I identified with your post so much.

Thanks for writing. I love your goal (being the skinniest bipolar woman in America!)
