In the early 90's my pap smear came back abnormal. Precancerous cells were seen. I had to have the freezing procedure done. The doctor told me that this was caused by having sex. He never said HPV. I have only ever had sex with my husband. Does this definetly mean he had sex with other partners? The medical records are gone. I tried to get them and I was told they had been destroyed. Is ther anything I can do? I was tested last year for HPV and the test was negative.
