By the way, I've been going through some of the content on this site and saw some posts by Dr. Goldstein. I'm wondering how I can ask him directly about whether or not HPV goes away because it seems like some people in response to my original post have said that it can go away and others say it's something you always have in your system. So I'm a little confused. And I'd like to know how to find out what kind of HPV it is that I have and wonder how to do that. Also, I'd like to ask Dr. Goldstein if, since I've had oral sex with the man I'm with, could I possibly have HPV in my mouth as well. I don't really understand all the implications of having HPV and how it impacts all of my body. Thanks so much!!
