is it fair to a kid to have old parents? You get pregnant at 46... You have it when you are 47. Your child is going to be 13 years old when you are 60? Prime age to start the teen years, sports, activities, team drama, etc. You don't need a kid to be happier! You happiness is within you!!! it doesn't depend of external actions. I'm a young parent and its very sad to hear stories of my teen friends being embarrass of having old folks. They always complain that their parents don't participate in their lives. They just provide stuff for them... Sorry, but that's another angle that you need to consider. Perfect age to have a kid... early thirties.... I had them in my mid 20s.
