Just so you know Susan, as is made apparent in this post, many SPECIALISTS in vulvodynia aren't educated in the research behind how OCPs cause a rise in SHBG causing vestibulodynia in many women. Telling people to see a specialist isn't helpful. Only very specific specialists know/care/believe this. I saw a gynecologist at Stanford who was supposed to be a specialist in this, and she was not aware of this research and wouldn't read the articles I brought and wouldn't prescribe a cream with testosterone, which is vital to symptom reduction and recovery.
