Anon, I really feel for you, as I struggled with endometriosis during most of my 20s and 30s. I also had two surgeries for it.

I am interested in your surgery, you said he determined after beginning the laparoscopy that he needed to make a bigger incision to deal with the endometriosis. Can you tell me more about that?

Where was most of your endometriosis located? Did you have ovarian cysts?

When you started feeling your recent pain, is it just like it was before surgery, in the same area and with the same intensity? Or is it different?

Endometriosis can grow back, as I'm sure you're aware, but since it is barely possible for you to have had two periods since your surgery, it seems unlikely that that's what's going on.

You've had this recent pain for three weeks, you say? And it gets worse day by day?

I'm very glad you've scheduled an appointment. Something is clearly not the way it should be for you. Like Alysia, I'm so sorry that you're in pain. If you'll get back to us with the answers to some of these questions we'll see if we can find you any more info before your appointment with your doctor. Either way, please come back and let us know what's going on.

Take care. Endometriosis can be tough to deal with sometimes, but it does get better over time. (Not that that knowledge really helps much when you hurt.)
