I have been on the Wiley Protocol for 18 months. During the first three months, I had to cut back & slowing increase the progesterone. Now, no problems at all. I take some pills for bloating as the progesterone cycle winds down. One thing I might mention is that I went on bhrt, a smaller static dose, like four days into menopause. Then, about five months later when that was not quite working so well, I went on the Wiley Protocol. My MD thinks that is the main reason I've had little in the way of side effects....I really did not allow myself to experience full menopause. Like, with my first symptoms on a Sunday....next day I was phoning for an appointment for bhrt & got myself on something right away. I've had no weight issues. I get the impression it's harder to do WP if you've been in menopause for awhile. My libido is fantastic, and I can't have any issues with that. In addition, for years I did progesterone cream, DHEA, melatonin, amono acids, so it wasn't like doing bhrt was totally new for my body. I turned 50 this month,....I was carded for alcohol on my birthday, and I give alot of credit to excellent health to taking hormones for nearly 10 years.
