Thanks so much for the advice, Virginia! I'll start taking my magnesium at night, along with my birth control, which will make it easier to remember anyway. You know, I used to be really good about taking my calcium, but I've been a slacker lately for some reason. I need to get back into that. I eat so much dairy and drink a lot of milk, so I'm probably okay in that area. I did have a bone density test a couple of years ago and was totally within the normal range. Anyway, thanks for the tip to take calcium during the day!

The only thing about the apple cider vinegar is that I'm so busy at work during the day that I know I would totally forget to take it. I do hate being reliant on pharma products, but I've had really good luck with this particular med. So many people in my family have had esophageal cancer -- one of my uncles had his esophagus completely removed -- that my GERD really terrifies me. I don't want to mess around with my symptoms because I've been in so much pain before that I ended up in the ER. But since I've been on proton pump inhibitors, I've been just fine......
