Hi Everyone it's JenB. I just want to tell everyone my progress since Feb 2009. My stiffness got worse everyday, to the point where I could even walk. Finally, I was able to get to a Doctor that would listen me, and shortly after was diagnosed with RA. I can't tell you how many times before that I tested negative for RA. About mid-year of 2009, I began taking Simponi, and methotrexate. It sent my RA into remission. I have been able to walk, jog, hike, and climb. I just got back from the Sierras (California), where I climbed Mt. Brewer. Ladies, there is HOPE!!! Don't give up, it took SEVERAL doctors that told me, nothing is wrong with you, and then finally I found a doctor who listened and took notes about my medical history, and family medical history for 2 hours!!! It is rare to find a doctor like that, God was looking out for me. I thank him everyday for my health. Also, I made a career change, and became a Massage Therapist, seeking to help others with RA, Fibromalgia and other diseases. I have made it my mission in life to educate others on the disease, and help ease their pain through massage therapy. I know massage helped me with pain, and emotionally a stress reliever.
