I've written here before, and I've been having UTI issues since I was 15. I'm now 19 and the infections will not go away. the doctors finally told me today they have no idea what else to do and that my body is resisting the antibiotics (Which comes to no surprise to me because ive been on every single one for the last couple years). I'm 19 years old, 5'5'' and 87 lbs (used to be anorexic, in process of gaining weight). I have a cystoscopy next week, but they said if my infection hasn't gotten better by next week that they will have to hospitalize me for a week or more. I have kidney damage from constant UTI's. Now they're wanting to hospitalize me. My question is why? Why do I need to be hospitalized and what would they do during my hospitalization?
