Douching would not help your UTI (douching is not healthy for your vagina, either, and your urethra is a separate opening in your body, and would not be effected by douching). Douching could actually cause more harm, as it can create more possibilities for further infection.
A tampon would also not effect your UTI, since it is inserted into your vagina, and your urethra (where your urinary tract infection and bacteria are causing irritation) are located. Even those these two opening are close to each other, they are still separate and are not connected in any way.
