I have not taken birth control pill for about 20 years now. I now only use the foam and have had periods of several months of no sex, during which no form of birth control was used, of course. Yet I still have an almost constant uti, whether sexually active or not. So, at least for me, birth control pills are not a factor, neither is frequency of sex.
