I had one of these awful things too. On one website I saw that a dermatologist was using IPL to treat this. I realized that intense pulse light is what my home laser hair removal tool uses so I decided to give that a try. I gave it a zap once a day for a week and then went on holiday. During the week of treatment it almost disappeared and by the time I got back from my week away I realized I couldn't even tell where it was. So in two weeks it is completely gone. I have the silkn flash and go laser and it was pretty cheap to buy.
