Well I am happy ti discover I am not alone and delighted to discover that my arm isn't going to atrophy or drop off...it's been 10 weeks since my annual, no problem, pop in and pop out flu shot. Same place I went the previous year-2 days of very sore upper left arm-no big deal-that happens but then the dull internal pain, the tiredness in my left arm when keeping it up for long periods is NOT anything I have ever experienced. I am counting my blessings that I did not have it administered to my right arm (I am right handed). The sheet of paper they send home with you mentions "very rare side effects such as very limited arm movement" and in my case I could move my arm but I was debating on finally seeing my doctor or going back to the clinic. However, after reading many of these comments I am only happy to not be in the same amount of pain as some of you. I will never again be so casual about a vaccine. But like most of you who have experienced a reaction, I will never again get a flu shot-my fear being that another flu vaccine would give me an even worse reaction.
