I am sorry to hear about your discomfort. After some research I found that in severe cases of psoriasis, the Federal Drug Administration advises to try different creams to prevent outbreaks. Most physicians try the mildest cream to start treatments and that can be changed to a more powerful cream in severe cases.

I am not certain what you are already using as a treatment but talking to your physician may be best to try and obtain a stronger dose of the cream. There is no cure for psoriasis but can be treated with the right medication in most cases.

Here are some websites I found that may help as well.

The Mayo Clinic http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/psoriasis/DS00193/DSECTION=treatments%2Dand%2Ddrugs

Federal Drug Administration http://www.fda.gov/ohrms/dockets/ac/04/briefing/2004-4062B1_02_FDA-Background.htm

Here is also a website from Pro Health that offers help and suggestions from others suffering from psoriasis. http://www.prohealth.com//library/showarticle.cfm?libid=8532

Hope this helps. Keep us updated.
