Hello...I've been researching on the internet and came across this site...I was diagnosed with trigonitis...I'm 61 gone through menopause and 7 mos ago started bioidentical hormone cream..was taking too long so I had the pellets inserted and do the progesterone sublingual..mainly had this done for bladder symptoms..have been on macrodantin maintenance for 10 yrs..just had a cystoscopy yesterday..that will be at least the 6th one in 10 yrs..the Dr.s are now learning that trigonitis may be hormone connected and there's hope for cure or for the trigone to return to normal in time...taking the bioidentical hormones gives me hope. I just read about the baking soda and tums and I'm going to try that...I'm supposed to start on a different antibiotic..Trimethroprim for 3 mos...then Macrodantin...however in the last 10 yrs of taking the antibiotics..I'm not cured..only get very brief periods of relief...I'm hoping the hormones will be the cure.
