As I have written before many many times and insisted, antibiotics don't work. I have discussed IC/trigonitis in depth with the best of the best urologists of my country. People from all over come to this hospital to see them. Medication via the urethra only works. The bladder is an organ that can have medication given to it straight away, to "hit the spot". Dont take anymore antibiotics, you are damaging your kidneys and doing nothing for your bladder. CYCYSTAT is the medication that I was treated with, and I am fine now. No pain, no frequency, no fibromyalgia, no pain in the pelvic floor muscles. Believe me, IC/trigonitis gives you all sorts of weird pain that you would never imagine that your bladder can cause. Talk to your urologist about weekly therapies via the urethra, first get checked for any STD's as they are a major cause of this, especially chlamydia. Dont get trippy about researching pelvic floor muscles etc.etc., its all because of the trigonitis. I have made this damned thing a purpose for helping other women, I have researched it, talked and talked to docs who agree with the fact that antibiotics do NOTHING. Each country I suppose deals with this differently, but look into this medication. It's very expensive if your insurance doesnt cover it, so maybe that's why some docs like to turn their cheek to this. Stop the meds, stop the antidepressants, they will just make you feel worse. For any more info, just give me a shout. I know what you are going through. By the way, the line ups for these weekly therapies were huge, all women of all ages.
