I keep my house at 71 degrees all year round and I don't care who likes it... don't like it don't come to my house. It is that simple... As for wasteful selfish habits. Yes I have them, no one else is going to look out for me but me so why not. I don't care if people get upset over it cause well there is nothing anyone can do about it and its my life.
