I have vascular rosacea and have never found a doctor that truly understands the condition. I pretty much had to diagnose myself. Anyway, here is what has worked for me...cetaphil gentle cleanser; any hypoallergenic, fragrance free moisturizer; IPL therapy; and most of all low dose atenolol. It can be taken regularly or just when you anticipate contact with a "trigger" such as anxiety or red wine. I had to discover this treatment on my own and it has truly been the most effective of all. I think other beta blockers would work just as well but this is what I started with and it is inexpensive with really no
side effects. Hope this helps.
