You know, it never even occurred to me not to take my ex-husband's name. Not sure why -- maybe because I just didn't know other women at the time who had kept their maiden names. And, oddly enough, it was such an easy thing to do. (No legals fees, so trips to the court, etc...)
Kudos to you for keeping your name and being in a marriage that's a real partnership!!
